Q: What is cabinet refacing?
A: Refacing includes all new custom made doors and drawer fronts, hinges, hardware, top trim, baseboards, and the existing cabinet frames and side panels are covered in matching materials.
Q: Can I add new cabinets?
A: Yes, we build custom cabinets to fit or modify any space.
Q: Can I keep my existing drawers?
A: Yes, if the drawer boxes are in good condition. We also offer optional standard drawer boxes and slides or solid wood dove tailed drawers with soft close under mount slides.
Q: What cabinet accessories are available?
A: We provide pull out trash kits, roll out trays, wine racks, appliance garages, utensil dividers, lazy susans etc.
Q: How much will my project cost?
A: While it is difficult to give you a cost with out knowing specific project details. We reccommend you reference our price example for a basic 10 x 10 kitchen to get an idea.
Q: Can my cabinets really look high-end by refacing?
A: We achieve a high-end custom built look by using the best quality materials, full overlay design, and expert installation. Optional crown moulding, dove tailed drawers, and many cabinet accessories really dress up the cabinets to achieve that high-end look with out the high-end price
Q: What is your lead time?
A: Depending on materials and our installation schedule the average time is 6-8 weeks from the time the order is placed.
Q: How long will my project take?
A: The average refacing project takes 3-5 days to install. Larger projects with more options can take longer to install but usually not more then 10 days.
Q: Do you offer a warranty?
A: We have a warranty guaranteeing our work for up to 3 years.
Q: What can I expect from my in-home quote?
A: In home estimates on average take about 30 minutes. We don't hire salesman. Tad will talk with you about your project as well as take measurements and bring door styles and color samples. A written quote is sent to you by email within 5 business days.
Q: Who will be installing my project?
A: We are a local, independently operated business. Tad does all the estimates and work himself. We never hire subcontractors. This way you will know who will be installing your project when that time comes.
